Astronauts!

To be an astronaut is very hard work, but how cool would it be to go into space? You need to have a minimum of a bachelors degree in engineering, biological science, physical science or mathmatics. Most astronauts have more advanced degrees. Pilot astronauts have to have 1,000 hours of pilot-flying time. It takes patience, hardwork, a lot of time and experience, depending on what type of work your doing…you could just be a photographer. “Astronaut” is from the greek words that means “space sailor.” There are also requirements like, passing the physical NASA class, distant visual acuity, your blood pressure in a sitting position, and your height should be between 58.5 and 76 inches. Those requirements also differ on what field your in though. Training is hard too, you would have to train in emergency prepardness, they also get to try out microgravity on a kc-135 jet aircraft, which is also known as the “vomit comet.” They recieve classes on technology, math, geology, meteorology, guidance, oceanography, navigation, orbits, astronomy, physics, and much more. You must be vary committed if this is your goal for a career, but it would be worth it, but you would have to be willing to take the risks along with it. This is only a little bit of information on astronauts too, theres so much more, but heres the basic info.
take care.
